Student of the Month-April 2009

Look at that winning smile, so proud! Here's Jack with Mrs. Westerman, the principal.

This is such a great story! Last month the principal called me. Yeah, kinda scary right? She informed me that Jack was chosen by his teacher to be the student of the month. I was thinking "Really? My Jack? Jack Adamson?" I really thought she was calling for another reason :) Just kidding, he's good for everyone else. Just not us!

She said there would be a little presentation the following Friday and that the whole family should be there. Well the whole family meant me, Eric, Abby, Derek and Krista. I should have got a picture of us but I was videotaping the little ceremony.

He received a letter from his teacher of why he was chosen, a pencil, a picture that says student of the month on the border and a Chick Fil-A kids meal coupon (score!). We used that the very next day and the owner of CFA told him what a great job he did (so cute).

We really are so proud of him! His little classmate Hailey said she was jealous of Jack and that she was hoping Mrs. Gravert would change her mind.

He's kind of a big deal at Arlene Hein Elementary School. haha!
