Abby's Birthday her way!

We started a tradition to go out for a b-day donut on the kids' actual birthday. This started last year when Jack's b-day was on a school day but we had till 11 to celebrate some way. She woke up so happy. She loved all of us singing to her and all of her b-day wishes thru out the day.
We headed over to the donut shop where Abby of course picked a chocolate donut!

I like this picture of her-she's such a cutie!
Typical. She ate most of the chocolate and then she was done. Next time can I just have a cup of frosting please-thanks.
Robbie spent the night so we had a mini party in the donut shop
Next up-the zoo! I gave her 3 choices to pick for her b-day outing. Fairytale town, the zoo or the jump house place. She picked the zoo! We never go there because it's not my favorite but it was her day! We swung over to Bethany's to pick her up and off we went.
She was so excited to see the tigers. She kept talking about them the whole way. This would have been so cool if he would have turned around! stupid tiger.
Robbie and Jack's turn :)
Checking out the flamingos. She liked them because they were PINK!
Pointing out the littlest fish
Checking out the giraffes. They have a new exhibit being built that'll be more interactive. They're kinda far away.
She cracks me up-Jack would never do things like this at her age...or ever!
Before we left the zoo we had to take a spin on the new carousel. Abby picked the panda to ride.
Jack picked the bald eagle and Robbie just wanted to be by Jack so he ended up on the chimp
Bethany wanted to be near Abby so she picked the hippo close by. The animals are not your typical horses and swans but animals you would see in the zoo. They were pretty neat and unusual.
I love those two giraffes right behind her
When we got home from the zoo Nana and the girls were waiting for us. Abby picked Dos Coyotes for dinner so daddy went and picked it up and we had a backyard feast! yummy :)
Nana got her cupcakes and we sang to our little birthday girl
Some more yummy chocolate see...Ashley being silly with her vanilla one
Brooke on the chocolate team
Jack on team vanilla making it even :)
Abby helping Ashley clean up-she was a mess!
For a day that was mostly orchestrated by a three year old it was pretty great! Her friend party is in a few weeks and she has requested a "pink one." Done and done.
