Since Saturdays are now workdays for Eric, I try and schedule fun things for the kids to do to keep them busy and wear them out! My friend Angie has the same problem and our kids love to hang out so we often make plans together. Plus since she went back to work herself, I rarely get to see her anyway so it's a playdate for us too!
We've had some great weather so a trip to Scandia to mini golf was the plan.
The girls lasted two holes before they ditched their clubs and started bowling with their golf balls!
Jack and Matthew had a blast but weren't very serious about the number of shots it took per hole. Angie and I were keeping score till about the 10th hole and then it was just about not losing 6 colored balls!
Trying to staying in the shade...it was starting to get hot!

Matthew actually got the "hole in one" on the 28th hole! The prize is a free soda. Jack begged him to get a large so he could share. Hilarious!
We drove over to Fudruckers for lunch and splurged with shakes and onion rings in addition to our burgers and fries! So yummy! We took the kids back to Scandia to play $20 in quarters and then took our tired kids home. Always good times with Angie and the kids.
