For the THIRD year in a row Abby requested a trip to the zoo for her birthday! It was a really hot day so we didn't stay long. It was our own fault considering we didn't get there till 3:00! Her cousins Jeffry, Sidney and Lily came along and Aunty too! Oh and daddy was even there! What a treat :)

We were so hot we stopped at Quick Stop for some ICEE's on the way home. That cooled us off!

Once we got home we let Abby open her family presents.
All the kiddos gathered around.
Aunty got her a bunch of new earrings and she got a slip n slide from Grammy and Grampy! Jack got her a rubber stamp kit and some new Play Doh. We got her a basket for her bike and an Ariel Barbie. She got an Ariel dress up purse and accessories kit from Jan and Nana mailed her lip gloss and body glitter! She was so happy :) All good stuff that she really wanted!
Then it was straight to the pool! It was still hot at 9:00 at night! Abby is quite the swimmer this summer and it's so fun to watch her get better and better each day!
She jumped off the hot tub for the very first time that night! When 3 out of 4 kids are doing it it doesn't take too long :) Such a brave girl!
After the kids got out of the pool we had some ice cream, bathed them all and tucked them in downstairs for a giant sleepover!
Tomorrow is party day!!! Goodnight to the two 5 yr old's and the two 7 year old's! For a few weeks more anyway :)
