18 Years!

Thanks to my sister and bro-in-law, Eric and I got to get away to Lake Tahoe for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary! We had a blast! 

We arrived Thursday evening at Harrah's and got upgraded to a really nice room. Like the kind of room we could never afford with amazing views and a huge bathtub and living room! It was posh! We had to spend the next two nights at Harvey's but we enjoyed the "Rainman Suite"while we had it! We were thinking it would be a fun room to have a party in! Just two people was kind of a waste.

Here's our amazing view on Friday morning.

After we slept in and had a leisurely morning we got ready for a hike. Yes, a hike! In all of our married years we've never hiked together. It was SO.MUCH.FUN! We had an amazing time in the great outdoors and the weather couldn't of been better! It was the most gorgeous fall weather.

So peaceful and serene. We stayed a little bit and just soaked up the sun and enjoyed the quiet.

We headed back to the hotel to shower and get ready for our special dinner at Riva Grill! We started off with the famous Wet Woody drinks of course and enjoyed our fancy entree's. We were looking forward to this meal for weeks!

We celebrated with the most delicious mud pie ever! We enjoyed our quiet evening together and reminisced about our last 18 years and talked about our next 18 years! A great end to a great day!
