Insta Friday

I started off the week with a house party on Friday night! It was a fundraiser for our Honduras Mission Team. Hans and Jenn Coombs played and sang. It was really fun!

 They sounded so great together!

 Saturday was full with Crafternoon and a date night with  Eric. Emily organized a fun craft with glitter galore! Such a fun way to spend the afternoon :)

The date was a fail. 

We had full intentions on going to Outback for dinner and then a movie. We had c-mas gift certificates for both! We ended up at Chipotle and the movie choices and times were not in our favor. 

Epic fail.

So off to Target and Michael's we went. I know-super exciting right?!

Sunday was a fun family day! After church the Stratton's invited us to the Effie Yeaw Nature Center for a special owl presentation. The weather was amazing and it was beautiful out there! The little owl was first and the kids observed from afar. The second was super cool and they moved closer!

They learned some owl facts and then we were off on a nature hike that lead to the river!

 Kids+rocks=fun!

 The spot where we walked to had a pile of River Monster bones and we all had our opinions as to what they were! Come to find out they were just salmon :)

 We ended our Sunday with watching daddy play in his basketball league game. The kids loved cheering him on! He's got mad skills!

 Tuesday I watched Ellie and Chloe so Abby had a fun playdate! Silly girls!

 I volunteered at the school on Thursday and what a lucky day it was! Abby and Keira got Student of the Month awards! So fun I could be there to see her proud face :)

 I had lunch with Jack and 7 of his closest friends! (he's only supposed to pick 3!) I spent the rest of the day grading papers in his class and observing. Always interesting!
