Abby received an award for the character trait Respect. I just happened to be there volunteering even though it wasn't my normal day. Boy am I glad I was there! Her little friend Keira got an award as well and her friend Arjun. Ellie received it on Tuesday! Mrs. Gravert believes in giving more than one :)
To top it off, Isabelle received the same award at the assembly earlier that morning! Of course I had to go and cheer her on!
Abby was so cute while Mrs. Gravert read her letter. She was proud from head to toe!
She read:
Abby is such a wonderful and respectful student. She works hard on all her class work and does not shy away from a challenge. Abby was chosen because she treats her classmates the way she would like to be treated. She is caring, courteous and helpful to everyone. Abby is a great friend to her classmates. She is well liked because she is respectful and caring to her friends. She is a great role model because she has such polite manners and knows how to follow directions. Thank you Abby for showing us how to be respectful.
We had to go out to dinner to celebrate so we joined the Gallardo's at Chevy's and honored our two Students of the Month! Abby insisted we go to Pinkberry as well so they could have ice cream with "toppings!" It's all about the toppings!
