Insta Disney

Our annual trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! We went with the Webers which is always super fun! Bethany rode with us and brought all kinds of fun printouts to do in the car. She's handy that way! Our two munchkins were ready to roll!
Day One! We started off with getting a Fast Pass for Star Tours! It has been under remodel the last few times we've been there and is FINALLY open! Then we went to Autopia to waste some time.
Then of course straight to Thunder Mountain Railroad! Thankfully Margaret took Abby to the fun water ball while we took a few spins on Jack's favorite ride.
Here's our whole group on StorybookLand, one of MY favorites! We're so fun!
Then to Space Mountain where Jack officially likes it now!
On our way over to Frontierland we caught the parade midway. Abby LOVED it!
Day 2! We started off at California Adventure to see the new Little Mermaid ride. It was really fun, especially if you LOVE Ariel...Holly!
Jack, Robbie and Bethany rode the swings with Holly, and I took Abby on the Carousel.
Then Jack was up for the challenge of California Screamin! He rode it once with daddy, Bob, Eric, Holly and Robbie. He loved it! OMG my baby is officially NOT a baby anymore! When did THAT happen?! Next he'll be coming here with his girlfriend for a date! Sheesh!
He wanted to go again, and again, and again. He even rode single rider! Of course the ride broke down on one of his single rider trips! Scared the mommy and the daddy but not the boy. He said he was just bored sitting there alone.
I'm not feeling up to the coasters these days so Margaret, Bethany, Abby and I made do...cotton candy, ice cream and Bugs Life is a nice detour :)
Since Jack conquered California Screamin he was up for Tower of Terror next! He LOVED that too! You know you're old when... your kid starts riding rides you would rather pass on. Daddy, Bob, Holly, Eric and Robbie loved having Jack join them and experience it for the first time!
We had enough of that park and headed back to DLand. We arrived minutes before the parade was about to start so we found a spot and settled in to catch the whole thing from start to finish. Abby was in HEAVEN!

At night it's just magical there.
Day 3! It was Team Weber Day. They all have matching shirts and Jenny joined us for her actual birthday! I inherited Matt's shirt so I'm an honorary Weber :) We hung out in FantasyLand while the others went and did their thing. We had an erase board to play Draw Something, our new favorite game on the phone. It helped pass the time since the lines were so long!
Abby really wanted her face painted this time. We took her to the place right by the Matterhorn. I wish I would of video taped it because it took less than 5 minutes! It was amazing! She LOVED it!
Off for more rides in FantasyLand! Casey Jr's Train, Teacups and Dumbo. Including LOTS of wait time for all of them :(

Jack could not get enough of Space Mountain! I actually love that ride too! YAY!!
Lunch at the Hungry Bear, ice cream, shooting, and another parade sighting! Gotta love all the entertainment that Disney provides! Even Bob is entertaining!
 LOVE.
Margaret and I were on StarWatch all day. Because stars are just like US! They take their families to Disneyland! We actually saw one! He was spotted in the Peter Pan line in front of us. It's Matthew Gray Gubler  from the show Criminal Minds. I didn't know who he was but Margaret and Jenny did.
Our lil family of four :)
Group shot! We headed over to a mexican restaurant in Downtown Disney to celebrate Jenny's 21st birthday. Yummy food and we had this cool table upstairs in a room all to ourselves! Swanky!
Beautiful weather! We love it here!

Day 4! Just us for a few hours until we hit the road. There was a forecast of rain so we were going to stick it out until then! Starting off the day right-with Minnie ears!
The plan was to split up and do what would make the kids the happiest. That meant Jack and Eric would hit all the big rides and Abby and I would do characters and Princesses. We purchased tickets for Breakfast with Minnie for the two of us and it was the best money ever spent! It was inside the park at the Carnation Cafe. The food was yummy and buffet style. While your eating the characters just come over to your table and hang out and act silly. It was a blast and may be one of my all time favorite memories!

Raffiki from Lion King, Max (Goofy's son), Chip and Tigger!
 Eyore, Daisy Duck, and Dale!
Tigger was silly and making trouble with Chip/Dale. It was very fun to watch Abby and her reaction. Special moments for sure.
We were headed over to the Princess Fantasy Faire for story-time and just happened to be in the right place at the right time for Mickey's Big Band Parade. Perfect! Front row thank you!
They don't tell you which princess will be telling her story, and we were so happy it was Snow White! I literally almost cried. We've heard Sleeping Beauty's story before but Snow is our favorite! There was only like 15-20 kids there and we had front row for that too! The day was just going our way!
The line wasn't too long to meet the princesses so we did that super quick. We were supposed to meet daddy and Jack soon!
Abby and Belle had a nice convo...
...and she met Princess Tiana for the first time. Fun!
We met up with the boys in Fantasyland and rode the teacups and the carousel together. It really wasn't busy at all! Gotta love Sundays in the Land!

We had to end our trip on Pirates of the Caribbean. Abby's favorite! It started to rain on us just as we were standing in line which meant it was time to go! It poured rain on us our whole drive home and the kids feel asleep instantly. We had such a great time! Can't wait to go back in July for Abby's birthday! We'll be making good use of our season passes! Until next time Mickey!!
