Friday night's Bunco fundraiser was a big hit! Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of my lovely friends who came so this has to do. I was able to raise over $300 and we had so much fun! In fact I'm starting an Elk Grove Bunco group in June with most of the women who were there that night (Hein mom's and neighbors).
Saturday we met Nana at the Jelly Belly factory. We hadn't seen her for a long time and the kids were going to start back at school on Monday. The tour was fun even though production is halted on the weekends :(We had lunch there (jelly bean shaped burgers) and Nana spent a ridiculous amount of money on candy! The kids had a great time and were very happy to see her :)
Saturday night we had dinner at the Boyd's house and the kids busted out the Twister game. Jack was the "spinner." Some things never change!
Monday was MY bestie's birthday! We had a picnic lunch and the kids played in the park on a beautiful Spring day. We also celebrated with cake pops from Starbucks! Yummm!
This is the look of pure and utter disappointment. My poor Jack Jack just lost it when we attempted to visit the Serpentarium in Lodi only to find out they were closed. There was lots of build up since it was the very last day of being off track, Matt wasn't there and Abby was off on a playdate. I tried to console him but he was way past consolation! He's so tragic sometimes!
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I was volunteering at The GreenHouse to help with ABC (Awesome Bible Camp). I had the 4 and 5 year olds and was able to bring my 2 kiddos. David taught the kids three different parables in skits and they all loved it! Abby made friends with NayNay and of course was super excited to be with Nicolas and Riley!
Riley, Abby and Nay Nay catching ladybugs after their snack and right before group games. We met at the little Baptist church down the street from the GH and had a great partnership with Bridge of Life Church. I loved bringing my kids to the GH too, it made me happy :)
