Lazy Sunday afternoon getaway to a little Delta town only 20 minutes away. Michael and Angie were kid free all week and wanted to have one last hurrah and go wine tasting. We joined and had such a nice time. We started off at Scribner Bend where they have over 50 acres of local vineyards. Michael schmoozed with the winemakers and they talked retail since he's the wine steward at the local West Sac Nugget store.
Next we headed over to the Old Sugar Mill where they have nine wineries under one roof! We also struck gold because they had a special event with mobile food trucks including our favorite, Drewski's! Michael did some more schmoozing as we hit Elevation Ten, Heringer Estates and Todd Taylor. We actually got to talk with Mr. Taylor. Interesting convo between him and Michael. It was a really fun time! We plan on going to Lodi next and possibly back to the Sugar Mill again with some girlfriends.
