We got to watch the sunset every night!
Here's a typical scene around the campsite. The guys cooking and the girls waiting! We had the most amazing breakfast every day made by the daddies! Pancakes, eggs, bacon and potatoes yummy!
We drove to Capitola Beach the first two days we were there since it's our favorite! There were lots of surfers and boogie boarders! And Pizza My Heart within walking distance=SCORE!
Eric talked Jack into renting a boogie board and wetsuit. He liked it for about an hour and then he was done. It was a fun first experience! With Hawaii just a few months away I'm sure he'll be doing a lot more of that!Freddie and Dee really wanted to paddle board so they did that and really liked it too!
I was content with the sand in my toes and sounds of the ocean filling my heart as we watched the sun set each night.
The perpetual task of finding sand crabs.
Family shots in the yummy light.
These two cuties loved roaming around camp with their walkie talkies and climbing trees nearby. KiKi was nearby also trying to hold her own!
There were talks of a talent show all weekend since there was an amphitheater there. Everyone shared their talents. Magic tricks, jokes, singing, dancing and of course a few solo performances. Some of us were shy since we interrupted a couple who were hanging out there, but we did what we said we would do!
Bonfires and sunsets are heavenly!! We plan to make this an annual trip since we had such a blast!
This campsite is a walk in only so setting up and tearing down take some serious time! On our last day we made an easy breakfast, packed up (which means 29 trips to the car) and the Gallardos headed home. We wanted to make a few quick stops before heading home so we got Eric his much needed coffee and took the
Of course we couldn't get on the freeway without stopping at Gayle's for lunch, Marianne's for ice cream and the farmers market for some local produce!
We love it there and can't wait to go back!! Dee and I even walked the campgrounds our last morning with a map and made some notes for next year!
