Staycation Weekend

We had a weekend blocked off for a family wedding but ended up skipping out on the ridiculous plane tickets and spending the weekend together just right here in Sacramento! We stayed at The Citizen downtown which was a first for us. We loved our room and view and the convenience of the location. We parked our car in a parking garage and walked everywhere!

Our first night we went to Centro for dinner and enjoyed the evening on the patio. I LOVE eating outside! It's my favorite! After dinner we took a walk around the Capitol.
The next morning we walked to breakfast to Estelle's Patisserie after sleeping in of course. Yummy french pastries and Temple coffee. Yummm.
In the afternoon we walked to the Downtown Plaza and did a little shopping and then saw a movie. We had plans for dinner and managed a nap in between. Such a treat!

Pizza Rock for dinner and then a walk to Old Sac. I heart Sacramento evenings.

Grabbed the Sunday paper and headed to Fox & Goose for breakfast. Double treat!! We enjoyed our kid free time together and know the kids had fun at the Weber house. Thankful for my husband who understands the importance of time alone. So refreshing and relaxing!
