Well Abby had her first visit to Urgent Care yesterday. Eric took the kids out to the boat to go fishing and didn't make it past the parking lot! Abby fell on those little pebble rocks and apparently landed on one just right and cut her head open. They rushed back to Elk Grove and got her in right away because of the bleeding. Instead of stitches they glued it.
She's fine.
The cut is just at her hairline so it's going to be no big deal.
The best thing to come out of it is "the sweetness that is her brother." When I got home I told Jack I was sorry he didn't get to go fishing after all. This was his reply:
"Mom! Abby is more important! The most important thing is that our whole family is together and no one dies!"
tears.

ReplyDeleteGlad there won't be any permanent damage, and that the scar isn't a exact match to Daddy's...that would have been brutal :-)
