Insta Friday

We started off the weekend helping out Tasha while she took Jayden to a Dr.'s appointment. Those boys were crazy because the pool was freezing!!! But I turned on the hot tub for them so the goose bumps could go away :) Jayden joined them once he got back for a bit and then Tasha took all 4 kids to Joaquin's soccer game that night! WIN WIN!

Gotta love those spontaneous free moments. We opened up a bottle of wine and enjoyed the peace and quiet :)
Saturday was Abby's friend Aariya's birthday party. It was a cute backyard camping theme AND they have new chickens! Jack asked to go inside the coop of course!
On the way to church on Sunday we were trying to figure out what to do after since it was such a beautiful day. Eric had me look up if we had the boat on our Google calendar. We did! So we knew we had a plan!! We called up the Gallardo's to join us and they were in! We got home, packed food and were on our way! Fun and spontaneous...that's us!

Here's Eric in his happy place :)
Miracle Alert!!!
Jack went tubing.
By himself.
And liked it!
Abby girl did too! It was so fun to watch them have fun! They took turns between Issy and Calista and Freddie and DeAnna joining them. Major growth since we've owned this boat and they've been too afraid to do it! It's going to be a fun summer for sure!!
A little after school down time with my boy. Played Scrabble for the first time with him and he was really good at it!
We FINALLY got Jack in for a haircut. He had really been needing one. His buddy Darius gave him a coupon for a new place called SportCuts. Since he was a new customer she upgraded him to the MVP treatment and now things will never be the same! HE LOVED IT!!!
After the haircut he got his hair washed and a hot towel on his face. He enjoyed that so much he asked to go back tomorrow! She also gave him a back massage. I guess Cool Cuts are history!
Our big girl started soccer through CSD and LOVED it! How cute is she right before heading to her first practice?!
Her coach told her she looked like a young Mia Hamm! She did great and surprised us with a great attitude and full participation! Who is this girl?!
Oh and she's doing it all with her bestie! These two were troopers-it actually sprinkled during practice but they didn't even care!
Looking back...it was a great week!!
