While Ally was here, a good portion of our time was spent playing Rock Band on the Wii. She had played Guitar Hero at home before and I had tried to play before but couldn't figure it out.
With lots of practice over a few days, we got GOOD!
We pretty much played the same 5 or 6 songs over and over and over! Every chance we got we played. We'd put the kids to bed and play past midnight. While Jack was at school, we played. While Abby was playing with her babies, we played. Abby even started to sing some of the lyrics!
While we rotated drums, vocals and guitars, we both loved the guitars the best. Whoever got the most whammies was the lucky one because that's what makes it so fun!
I slowly became addicted to that guitar :)

ReplyDeletei already told my mother that santa IS getting rock band 2 for the wii, it's not even a question!! ahhh, i miss you guys! but i think only 12 more days til we leave for CALIFORNIAAAA :) wooo! oh and i love the picture of Abby and I playing drums, and i also love the message Ryan and Jack wrote you all "wii are good.." haha! can't wait to see you all!!!
