Jack received an award for Effort today. I'm sure it was because he has really made an improvement in reading since progress reports went out about 6 weeks ago. We're just so proud of him and all his hard work! They keep the awards a secret to the kids so they are genuinely happy and surprised.
His good friend Darius also received an award for effort and Jack looked happy for him too!
Other awards were given for citizenship and Student of the Month

Of course he had to wrangle some friends to be in the picture with him. Ben and Haley were more than happy to do it.
Today we're off to Disneyland as soon as Jack gets home from school! Tomorrow is only a half day but we're skipping it to get a jump on weekday crowds compared to weekend crowds! He'll be off track the whole month of March so we'll have lots of fun going on to blog about.But I'd say it's a pretty good reward for doing well in school! Whatever it takes right?!
