Bethany took a babysitting class back in October and has persistently been asking to watch Abby ever since then! She's 12 1/2 years old, a great little playmate and only charges $5 an hr.
The opportunity arose one Wednesday night when I needed someone to watch her while Jack and I were at Awana. Usually daddy's home and that's their time together but he was out of town. I sent her mom a quick text and she instantly replied "Bethany says heck yes!"
She did a great job and you can tell she was paying attention during her class! She had a form for me to fill out with info such as street address, cross streets, and emergency numbers and wanted to know when her bedtime was. When I got home I got a full report on the games they played, the books they read and the shows they watched.

Ever since then Bethany reminds me she's ready and willing to do it any time! It looks like Holly will soon be replaced. I guess it's just as well since she and Eric will be starting a family of their own in the near future :)
