First Day of 3rd Grade!

Look at my handsome boy all ready for his first day of school! The morning was pretty chill since we didn't start till 10am because it was a half furlough day. He's just a few weeks shy of 8 years old and ready for 3rd grade!

I had to beg for this to happen :)

5 minute walk!

This is technically a picture from the 2nd day of school. I can't be in two places at once so I had to wait to see Jack's class the next day. He's in the 2nd row seated in between two girls.

From what I observed their routine is to grab a chair from the stack, put their folders in a pile, put their lunches on the shelf, put their backpacks outside the door and have a seat.
He has his best buddy Matthew DePaco in his class but not his best buddy Matt Adams :( He also has two friends from his soccer team, Ben and Jonathon and of course Darius! His mom Tracey makes sure they stick together since we like to be together too :)
Looking forward to a great year! Slightly nervous from all the hype of 3rd grade being a tough year academics wise. We'll pray him through it.
