Jack's Transformer Party

Now that Jack is 6 he's turned into a Bakugan and Transformer lover! He has a bunch of both but it was an easy decision for him to have a Transformer party. We had the animated series playing on the tv and all his action figures out to play with but I was really hoping they would all play outside in the backyard and swim!
The weather was funky that day. It was overcast, windy and even sprinkled off and on! Compared to 90 degrees the day before, it was really strange. So much for our swim party!

Here's Jack with Matt, big Jacob and Jacob Q.
Here's Drew having fun on the play structure
Colin and Tommy stopping for a quick pic
The boys played Transformers and broke into 2 teams- Decepticons and Autobots. It was cute to hear them call each other for help and act out scenes from the cartoon.
Instead of a pool party it ended up being a hot tub party!
We dared big Jacob to jump in the freezing pool and he did it!
Then Alex got in on the action!
Jacob too! All crazy kids if you ask me :)
Jack was having a great time with all his buddies
He even let Abby join in on the fun. It was a "boys only party!" No girls allowed!
After a dip in the hot tub it was time for lunch. Cheese pizza from Costco, grapes and colored Goldfish.
Matthew and Ellie came late from a soccer game. Jack was ok with Ellie being there so Abby could have a friend. They hopped inside to do girly things like Pop Beads :)
We of course had to have a pinanta. Jack loved his Optimus Prime pinanta! It was packed full of candy. Jack requested gum, tootsie rolls and lollipops to fill it up. Grammy and Grampy sliced open his arms and legs and found ways to fit more candy than just his chest area. That guy was heavy!
Here's Jack starting off
Then big Jacob
Jacob Q.
Matt
Matthew
Free for all!
I love how Abby's right there in the mix
We ended the party with Transformer cupcakes made by Grammy. I never got a close up of one of them but they had candy Autobot and Decepticon emblems on them. Each boy got to pick what team they wanted to be on.

I think all the boys had a great time and as they left they each got a goodie bag filled with Transformer stuff. Only Matt and Matthew stayed later and watched Jack open his presents. He got a bunch of new Transformers so they opened them up and got to playin!

Here they are transforming Jack's new toys. They were so intesnse I had to grab a picture.
Jack was lucky to have Grammy and Grampy visiting that week from WA so they got to be here for the party. Nana also came. She had some car trouble so she was pretty late :(
I can't believe our little boy is 6! The years are flying by! We love you Jack Jack!
