Abby started taking gymnastics on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 with her little friend Ellie. It's the perfect activity for her right now and she loves it! She calls it "nastics."

I love having something special for her to do on a day when it's just her and I and Jack's at school. Somedays we'll go out to lunch with Ellie and her mommy after class and somedays we'll go run errands just the two of us.

The gym is set up so that the parents watch the kids behind glass. Every now and then she'll make sure I'm watching and wave which is really cute. Their teacher shows them all of the equipment and what to do on it and then they just rotate through it all getting help as they need it. She needs help on the balance beam and the forward tumbling but not the trampoline! She runs like the wind on that thing! They also have a fun foam pit they get to jump into.

The end of the session is usually in a smaller room where they get in a circle and follow what the teacher does. Then they all get a coloring page and stamped on their hands and feet just to end on a fun note. It's a 50 minute class that flies by!
