My friend Melissa and I have been decorating my tree together for the last 3 years now. It all started when she was pregnant with her first child and happened to be over my house when I was decorating our Christmas tree. It was brand new and we just couldn't believe how perfect it was for being fake! (thanks mom)
Oh decorating the tree is not a family thing here, it's MY thing. Eric sets it up and I do the rest!
Melissa and I were just chatting away decorating the tree, she let me tell her every story of every ornament, and we had a great time. So great in fact that we just made it tradition! She also brings me a new ornament each time because she knows how much I love them and then we reminisce about all the others. I have hundreds!

The kids got tree's of their own this year (thanks Grammy and Grampy) to decorate. Ya know, so they leave mine alone!

The guys were hanging out just shooting the breeze and keeping Linzi out of trouble! I think the girls moved those ornaments around several times :)

Thank you Melissa for being such a good friend and co decorator :) I love our tradition and look forward to the next time!
