Disneyland Day 2

We started Day 2 with a few presents from Mickey! He left little gifts for the kids under their pillows because they were good the day before. Jack got a little Star Wars Lego kit and Abby got a mini Snow White doll. The magic of Disney to start the day!
Here are two very excited kids ready for the day!
We went straight to Fantasyland and got in line for Dumbo. Here's Nana and Robbie
Abby and I went together and she loved it!
Sillyness
Nana and Margaret waiting for us while we ride Casey Jr's Circus Train
This is appropriate...four monkeys in a cage :)
This is one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip! Look how happy Abby looks! It's highly unusual to get a smile like this when taking a picture of her. It's now known as "The Disney Smile!" So cute of the both of them!
Here's what the train that we were on looks like
Abby was just in awe. I loved watching her more than the attractions itself ! Another favorite picture of mine.
Jack was waving and saying hello to anyone and everyone of course :)
Then we hopped over to the Storybook Land Canal Boat Ride. Unfortunately, Abby was not in the mood for a group picture. Robbie's big brother Matt joined us on Day 2 and he was great to have around. He kept the boys busy in line and was just a fun playmate.
I LOVED this ride! Everything was miniature and I LOVE anything mini! Here's Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
Princess Jasmine's Castle
Snow White's humble Cottage (look at the mini Christmas tree!)
Ariel's Grotto
Matt had those boys spinning so fast on the famous Teacup's Ride
Eric and I took Abby and kept it pretty tame. She liked seeing the boys spin by her.
Jack and Robbie trying to remove the sword from the stone.
We spent a lot of time in Fantasyland. We tried to go on the Peter Pan ride but the line was too long so we'll have to do that next time. Snow White's Ride was too scary so that was a bust. Bummer since that's her favorite princess :(

One happy girl on King Arthur's Carrousel
Gotta get those boys as well!
On our way to Pirates of the Caribbean (which neither kid enjoyed) we caught the New Orleans Parade for Princess and the Frog. The music was fun and jazzy and we got a close up of Princess Tiana. The dancers were putting beads on people and Abby was lucky enough to get 2! None of the rest of us got any!
Princess Tiana and her Frog Prince
The parade ended on the Mark twin Riverboat and when it floated by they were still singing and dancing!
We had our second attempt at trying to meet Snow White at the Princess Fantasy Faire. Nana, Margaret and I waited in line with her for about 45 minutes. While in line Nana asked one of the cast members where Snow White was and her response was "Oh, she has a lot of baking to do so she won't be here the rest of the day." My mom looked at her like she was crazy. Really? Can't we stay in reality and you just tell me when she's gonna be here? Too funny!

She did met Belle and a different Ariel but no Snow White :( Abby was much more into it the second time around and not so timid and shy.
I think the three of us were more disappointed than her! Jasmine and Mulan were also there but she didn't want to have anything to do with them. I think it's because she's hasn't seen either of their movies.
Eric, Matt, Robbie and I went on Space Mountain and a few times on Thunder Mountain Railroad. No pictures but lots of fun!

Around 5 o'clock we decided to head over to California Adventure but on our way over saw that the Christmas Fantasy Parade was just beginning. We had planned to catch the evening show but since we were right there and it was starting we squeezed our way in and enjoyed every minute of it!

Best part of the parade, hands down, seeing Abby's face when she saw Snow White! She was in awe! Here she comes!

Leaving on a beautiful float...so long Snow White!

Of course the parade ended with Santa! Time to head over to California Adventure now!
We saw Minnie and had to get a picture of course!
Me and all the kiddos with Pluto. Look at the joy!
The first thing we wanted to do was the Talk with Crush from Finding Nemo. We a little wait so we roamed around the animation area. Matt was really sweet and held Abby so she could see some of the neat exhibits.
Daddy showed her the magic storybook that told her what princess she was after answering some questions.
The mirror mirror on the wall said..."Cinderella"
During the Talk with Crush Jack got picked to ask him a question. He gave all the kids who asked questions a nickname. Crush called him Captain Jack :) I can't remember what Jack asked him but it was a really cute interaction. I'll take pictures next time!

We roamed around CA Adventure and went on a few rides and of course Toy Story! The wait was really long (almost an hour) but worth it! You wear 3D glasses and get a score at the end.

It was getting dark so headed back to Disneyland to catch Fantasmic, the laser light show. I didn't get any good pictures of that either :( We waited a long time for it to start so that was kind of a bummer. It was a really cool show that used water from the fountains and Mickey was the star of the show!

By the time that was over it was close to 11pm and of course Abby passed out! She fell asleep with her hands over her ears and stayed like that, which was hilarious. We watched the fireworks show and then made the trek to our car along with the other 5 million people going home too. boo!
One last picture of Main Street all decorated for the holidays...so pretty!
We had such a great time! The plan is to come back when Jack goes off track in March! We can't wait!!!
