We went to see Santa this week with DeAnna, Isabelle and Calista to get it done early! I learned my lesson to never take them on Christmas Eve again....waiting two hours with 5 million other families is ridiculous! So we got right in with only a few people ahead of us and got some good quality time with him.
Jack asked Santa for a giant Transformer called "Devastator." It's a $100 toy! Abby asked me what she should tell Santa that she wants. She doesn't quite have the "want monster" yet :) Thank goodness! She ended up telling him she wants a scooter. Considering the last two years she was crying on his lap, she did great. She wanted me to walk up with her and when Santa started talking to her and then asked her to sit on his lap for a picture, she was ok with him.
While I was waiting to pay for the picture Jack, Issy and Abby ended up just chatting with Santa and asking him some questions.
Jack: Where are your reindeer?
Santa: At the Sacramento Airport grazing on the grass. I couldn't get a permit from the City of Sac to bring them with me to the mall so they're out there.
Santa: When we fly home tonight I'm going to tell the elves to get started on making your toys.
Jack: Do you need me to draw them a picture?
Love that kid!
Jack was awesome asking Santa all those questions. He is such a smart boy!
