Art Beast Playdate

Jenni and I planned a fun day for our kiddos to be creative. Since it was Black Friday and we wanted something indoors, we picked Art Beast. The kids had so much fun! We were there for hours covering every inch of that place.

Here's an overall view of the main room. It's in an old 2 story house downtown with lots of charm.
The kids went straight for the Moon Sand! I'm glad I don't have to clean up after them!
Jack doing a little stencil art
The beginning of a masterpiece
Abby and Clare wanted to paint which just warmed my heart. When else can a kid paint like that? We just do watercolor painting at home on a piece of computer paper!
So focused and intentional :)
The boys went down into the basement where there's lots of pretend play and a puppet corner
A little sword fighting...
A little moon expedition...
Then back upstairs for a little piano playing
I would LOVE for him to take lessons some day. How cute is a little boy playing piano?!
The girls were very happy in the little room with a wood playhouse. They played in the kitchen with the food and babies for a LONG time.
Back to the Moon Sand
Back to painting
Abby and I made a rainbow
Hello super cute!
The boys found this fun little magnet maze and worked really hard at it
Some crafting
Then the boys had a turn painting
Jack said he was painting Colin and himself in the mud (it says Colin in brown)
We went out on the patio to have some lunch and they have things to play with out there too!
The girls couldn't resist bathing the babies
The boys really liked the water feature
Such a cool idea. Pipes+ ladles+ sand+ water=genius!
So much fun! The fun even got to continue with Colin coming home with us and the rest of the Krengel clan joining us for dinner after Clare's nap. Yummy Thanksgiving leftovers were had by all :)
