Abby's 4 Year Well Check

Our little girl has had quite the growth spurt! She's a whopping 34lbs (25%) and 41" tall (75%). Dr. Gill said she's going to be approximately 5'6" which is taller than me! She really liked the sound of that and got a big ol smile on her face when he said that.


She had her hearing and eye test, received the flu nasal mist, AND had 4 shots, which was really traumatic! She was so upset she cried the whole way home :( She was holding her arms and complaining they hurt. Poor little girl. She got a popsicle, a sucker, gum and a tootsie roll all in the first hour we were home. She was workin it! Just for comparison, Jack refused to do the hearing test, barely did the eye test and I had to have help holding him still to receive his 4 shots at that age. Traumatizing for both Jack AND the mommy!!


I LOVE this picture that Dee took of her when we went camping last month because it shows right where she's at right now. She is working really hard at balancing. She has a hard time with this developmental stage and I even talked to the Dr. about it. He assured me that she'll get it soon enough. She's pretty unsteady and not the most graceful little girl, but we love every inch and pound of her!
