Family Day O Harvest Fun

We started off the fun at Fog Willow Farm in Wilton. Our friend Mindy from Awana works there and gives us free passes every year. So daddy left work a little early that day and the kids were super excited for all the fun plans we had!

Our two cuties at the top of the hay pyramid.
Ready to explore!
They both love to feed the animals there.

Making a mini hay bale. It's hard work shovin that hay in a small space!
Our annual measurement that Abby refused to take but look how big Jack is getting!
Our turn! Jack insisted :)
Hay ride with my best boy
A little playground time!

There's Mindy! She's driving the new Cow Train. All aboard!

Abby wanted Jack and I to test it out first.
My view :)
They couldn't be any cuter!
Riding around the whole farm!

We headed off to dinner at DaVinci's and had a yummy pasta dinner! Then it was home for some more fun and pumpkin carving!

I made jello jiggler's while they were at school so they just had to cut them out with fun fall shapes like leaves and pumpkins. They loved it! They were yummy orange flavored goodness!
Then it was time for some good ol pumpkin carving!
Neither one of them like the feel of the inside of the pumpkin so they wear gloves. Oh brother!

I LOVE pumpkins seeds so we saved every last one and I roasted them while we carved. The house smelled super yummy!
Getting some help from daddy.
Pumpkin carving is fun tradition that started when Karri and Ryan were little and now I do it with my own kids. I love to carve my own too :)
The kids both draw their faces on and we help them carve it. Ya know because knives are sharp and dangerous!
Daddy didn't mess around. He brought out the big guns!
Boy was Jack into that!
The finished product! Abby's is on the far left, then Jack's, daddy's is the lil guy, then mine!
Spooky pumpkins in the dark and lots of fun memories with our little family.
