After arriving by ferry we found a hotel, checked in, then took a little stroll through town. We stayed in a hotel right near the harbor where the Parliament building is. It's massive and quite beautiful.
We also passed the Empress Hotel which is a Four Seasons. Very swanky and very expensive! They have High Tea at noon everyday. I'd love to do that next time. We arrived after noon that day and left before noon the next :(
I had to take a close up of the beautiful red vines growing on the building.
We had dinner at a yummy Italian place that evening. Good food and good conversation :)

We all learned that less than 24hrs in Victoria is not nearly enough time! I especially want to go back, Victoria is know for whale watching, Orcas in particular! They had all kinds of boats in the harbor and advertisements galore on the ferry and in the hotel. Mark my words...we'll be back!
Rose! This is where Chris and I went on our honeymoon. I LOVE it there! Our room overlooked the wharf. I even dragged Chris to Butchart Gardens, which it doesn't look like you got to do, but is a MUST SEE on your next trip :)
